The charango is a musical instrument plucked inspired by the small guitar from Peru, the city of Ayacucho, in the seventeenth century. Following the arrival of the Spaniards in America, the natives were inspired by the guitarrilla or timple (or tiple) to create this little instrument that  has spread to all the Andean countries (Argentina, Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador).
