The pan flute is a musical instrument composed of a set of organ pipes together. It belongs to the aerophones, the vibrating material producing the sound is air. More precisely, since it is a flute, the sound obtained by the rupture of an air space on a bevel. It is in the world a wide variety of shapes and spatial organizations of this flute. The materials used are also very varied. But whatever the form or the time, they derive from a common archetype: some stubble (reeds, bamboo, etc.) together. There are panpipes in Europe, Asia, America, Oceania and Africa. These flutes are naturally many different names and "Pan Flute" is in fact the generic name for all French flutes belonging to this family of instruments.
