Trejdeksnis (also known as trīdēkslis, trīdēksnis, strīd etckslis, etc.) is a Latvian percussion instrument. It consists of a short wooden handle crossing three rows of flat horizontal discs, which are wider and wider, with small triangular metal rattles hung on the edges of the discs. Trīdeksnis is used by shaking it as a rattle or by striking the handle against the palm of the hand, causing a ringing of metal discs.
